To view the different topics regarding this software and Channel Z you have three options. You can select a topic from the “Chapters” menu above, click on the pop-up menu below (click on the bar below where it says “Welcome”) or use the arrows to the right of this window. Once in the chapter you can select a section from the “Sections” menu or use the scroll bar to scroll through the text. It is important that you read/scan this document in its entirety even if you’re a PRO. :)
Thank you for inquiring about Channel Z. It’s very important that you use this settings file that we have created especially for Channel Z when calling us as well as the latest version of the FirstClass Client application. Our settings file contains many HOT color ICON’s & COOL sounds that are unique to Channel Z BBS and Channel Z would be naked without the proper settings file. It is also extremely important that you read this file in it’s entirety as we have included important setup information that should not be skipped.
If you are new to FirstClass Bulletin Board Systems, we at Channel Z have created a help file compiled from the teriffic online help that the makers of FirstClass supply to every FirstClass BBS, called “FirstClass Help”. This help file is a self running application (just like the one you’re using now) with detailed information to get you up and running in a snap!
WARNING
In order for all of the custom resources to work properly, you should quit the FirstClass Client application prior to opening this settings file, if you have previously called another BBS. Also, note that ClickChange may alter the appearance of some of the custom resources we’ve added. We suggest turning off the “Windows” option in the ClickChange preferences for the FirstClass Client application (see your ClickChange owners manual for instructions on this procedure.)
